How to Support Us in Bringing Science Closer to Every Child

Through our educational programmes, Native Scientists builds a world where children can reach their full potential, regardless of their background. You can help us achieve this mission.

As a non-profit organisation, our work is only possible thanks to public support. By donating, you enable us to deliver more interventions connecting children and scientists, support scientists in travelling to communities, and develop impactful learning materials.

Thanks to our donors’ support, 718 children have already interacted owith a scientist, often for the first time, since 2022. This year, we aim to reach 400 children. This is where you can make a difference.

How you can donate

There are several ways to support us. Wherever you are, and whether you prefer a one-off contribution or ongoing support, there is an option for you. If you would like to learn more about how donations are used, our annual and financial reports are available on our website.

PayPal

Donating through  PayPal allows you to choose how often you give (one-time, monthly, or yearly) and where your contribution goes. You can support interventions reaching children from migrant backgrounds, children in rural areas, or children in underserved communities. You may also donate in honour of someone who inspired your career path, or contribute where support is most needed.

MB WAY

If you are in Portugal, you could also donate through the MB WAY app. You can do this through our Donate page or find us in the MB WAy app under the "Ser Solidário" option or by entering the phone number +351 915530641.

​GlobalGiving

GlobalGiving enables supporters worldwide to contribute and see the impact of their donations. Our current active campaign supports the Same Migrant Community programme, where children interact with scientists from similar backgrounds through science workshops delivered in a shared heritage language.

Benevity

If your employer uses Benevity, you can donate through employee giving schemes or make one-off or recurring contributions. You can also encourage colleagues to take part.

Endaoment

Endaoment works similarly to Benevity. However, with Endaoment, there is the possibility to donate in cryptocurrencies and shares, not just traditional currency.
